If after reading posts and threads here at Berean Council you would like to participate in discussions here, please read the following for directions on how to join.

The Berean Council has two membership levels, Open and Full. Open is for those who wish to use only the Open Discussion forum while Full is for those who (on the basis of shared beliefs as described below) wish to participate on all forums.

For Open membership we ask agreement with the following:

1. There is one God existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2. The Deity of Jesus Christ. The incarnation of God (the Word) in human flesh.

3. Jesus Christ's physical suffering and death on the cross as the ONLY atonement for sin. The bodily resurrection of Jesus.

4. Salvation is by grace through faith, without works, for those who believe the Gospel.

5. Eternal punishment of unbelievers.

6. The future, physical, second coming of Jesus Christ and the bodily resurrection of all the saints.

7. The 66 books of the Bible are the infallible Word of God, and the sole authority for Christian doctrine and practice.

8. Personal "prophecies" are not allowed.

9. All posts are to be made in a civil manner. I understand that when a topic is being debated passions can rise, as we all are people who are passionate about our faith. However, that allowance does not extend to uncivil language. Let's remember that we should behave as brothers and sisters in Christ.


For Full membership, as ask agreement with both items below IN ADDITION to the items of agreement for Open Membership.

11. The consistent literal interpretation of Scripture


Once you have decided which level of membership you would like, email me (the board owner) at bereancounciladmin@gmail.com. Include which membership level you desire as well as your proper name. I will email back to you a userid and password to give you the correct level of board access.

Finally, I would like to note that Berean Council is a totally free service to believers. It has been around for many years in various forms, and it is an honor to be running it today.
