Bro Doughty,
Early in the debate, you made a statement, the gist of which was, "I have studied the ECFs. They are dangerous."
Can you please elaborate on this? What do you mean that you have studied them? Have you spent time reading the authors themselves, or are you relying on the opinions and quotations of others? Why have you concluded that they are dangerous?
Since I began reading them years ago, I have all but given up reading modern authors. I find the ECFs to be a drink of cold water compared to modern teachers, preachers and writers. I am surprised to hear someone say that he has indeed studied them and yet concluded that they are "dangerous." I would like to hear more.
Sincerely,
Roger

"For error is plausible, and bears a resemblance to the truth, but requires to be disguised; while truth is without disguise, and therefore has been entrusted to children." - Irenaeus
